Down Hall Country House Hotel December 30th

I’m Getting Married In December is that a problem? You would be surprised the number of times I have been asked this by couples. Point of fact is, that a clear winters day can present the most amazing photo opportunities. Yes there is less light and yes there are less daylight hours. Leaving those caveats aside winter light can be softer and better for photography. On December the 30th I was heading to Down Hall Country House Hotel, Bishop Stortford in Hertfordshire and the weather that morning was fabulous. Apart from the early morning frost not having quite cleared as I arrived the day was perfect. As you look through the images you will see Ruby out side in her wedding dress. Bearing in mind the portraits were taken at 4pm it really wasn’t too cold (at least for me in my coat!) around 14 degrees. Anyway that’s a long winded way of introducing a set of images from Down Hall country House. Ruby Craig, their families and friends were amazing and the venue friendly and helpful.
